Real Ice Dam Solutions for Homeowners

Winter made quite an entrance and while the snow may not have piled up just yet... hindsight tells us it is coming. Do you know there are ice dams in your near future? These vexing, home wrecking icicles have logical causes and the best fixes are not what you might think.
Spoiler alert: they don't involve putting heat tape on your roof!
Come learn why ice dams form and how to resolve them from former Home Energy Auditor and Residential Efficiency Educator, Laura Brooks. She is passionate about educating homeowners on ways they can make an impact on troublesome problems ranging from ice dams and old windows to comfort and energy savings.

Painter/printmaker, Lila Valone is exhibiting her drawings, monoprints, pastels and paintings on the Neil Hammer Gallery walls of the Hawks~Hayden Community Room at Meekins Library through January 31.
Lila Valone has a BFA in art-education and studied painting and printmaking at Swain School of Design.
